Subea has developed a surface marker buoy that remains inflated. Very simple to use with a reel, spool, or a classic ballast. A surface marker that remains fully inflated! Ideal for your safety at the end of the dive. It enables the boat to easily find you!

Technical Information

Features

Stainless attaching ring on the exterior to use the surface marker with a reel spool (sold separately).
Main fabric made of polyamide with a polyurethane coating that provides good resistance to abrasion and friction. Stitching protected and reinforced by protective material (braid).
It is equipped with two SOLAS reflective strips on the top to facilitate identification by the boat.

Inflating / Deflating of the surface marker

The surface marker is inflatable in three ways: Typically, from below, with your mouth, or with a direct system hose using the inflater. It is, thus, inflatable on the surface.
Once inflated, the air is completely trapped. This allows it to always remain completely inflated.
It is equipped with a pressure relief valve to let air out in case of overpressure, i.e. if it is too inflated, especially at depth. This valve also allows deflating the surface marker.
