TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Construction

PU-injected skis, for improved lightness and easier progression.

Bindings

The Tyrolia SRM 4.5 Din 0.75 to 4.5 binding. Accepts standard boots A (adult) or C (child). Quick adjustment of the length of the sole with a single click on the heel so that the ski can match different boot sizes. It's very easy to do and we recommend bringing your skis to one of our workshops to have it done. Skis 97cm / 107cm => boots between 200mm and 260mm. Skis in 117cm => boots between 220 mm and 270 mm.

Durability

Plastic tip end and reinforced topsheet. White colour for increased scratch resistance.

Preparation

Waxed and sharpened skis, ready to use. Edge sharpened to 89°.

What is a camber?

When placing a ski on the ground, its points of contact with the snow are found near the tip and heel, whereas the middle of the ski (under the bindings) is slightly raised (this is the camber). The longer and higher the camber, the more grippy and responsive the ski. The lower it is, the more tolerant and manageable it is.

What is a rocker?

On a "rocker" ski, the tip, and sometimes the heel, comes off the ground sooner than with a cambered ski: this has the effect of moving the contact points toward the centre of the ski. The surface of the ski in contact with the snow is shortened and offers manoeuvrability and lift in soft snow. When taking corners, the edge length provides more grip on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the better the handling of the ski. The shorter it is, the more grippy your ski is.
