100% UV Protection

Because UV rays are harmful to the eyes, all our goggles are 100% ANTI UV with the EN 174 standard. Goggles are the best means of protection – they perfectly cover the eyes, preventing UV light from getting in as well as glare

Optimal anti-fogging

The "OPTIMAL" anti-fogging is a ventilated dual lens with a treatment on the internal surface and lots of air vents on the frame that create air flow inside the ski goggles.
To ensure the inside of the goggles are properly ventilated, you need to avoid blocking these air vents, e.g. with a scarf.
Do not rub the inner surface of the lens but carefully dab the surface to preserve the anti-fogging treatment for as long as possible.

Ventilated dual lens

A goggles design with a ventilated dual lens reduces condensation. Indeed, the air trapped between the 2 lenses provides thermal insulation. This reduces the thermal shock between the inside of the goggles and the outside and also delays the fogging on the inner lens of the goggles. The inner lens also has an anti-fogging treatment and is also ventilated by air vents to ensure good air circulation.

Spherical lens

The spherical shape also provides the least distortion.
The outer lens is made from photochromic polycarbonate, very resistant to impact whilst the inner lens is made from Acetate

Compatibility with a ski helmet

All the Wedze ski goggles are designed to be perfectly compatible with the Wedze ski helmets.

Compatibility with prescription glasses

The Ski G 520 S3 goggles in size L allow for the use of prescription glasses with max width of 145 mm. The foam on the sides and the shape of the goggles skirt leave a passage for each arm.

40 mm-wide Polyamide, Polyester and rubber elastic, non-slip silicone strap

Microfibre pouch

Remember to protect your goggles and especially the lens from scratches before and after use, with the Wedze microfibre case. This case also cleans the lenses and the material is perfect for maintaining them without causing any scratches.

Flash coloured lens

A coloured coating on the outer side of the ski goggles' lens (called coloured Flash) reduces the percentage of light transmitted to the eye, which reduces glare and improves visual clarity in sunny conditions

EN 174 Standard

The EN 174 is a European standard for goggles used for eye protection when practising alpine skiing or similar activities such as snowboarding.

Avoiding condensation

Humidity causes condensation. You must therefore avoid soaking the foam padding as much as possible, e.g. by placing the ski goggles on damp helmets or hats. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. That's why you should dry your ski goggles throughout the night to remove all traces of damp and go skiing with perfectly dry goggles the next day.
