TECHNICAL INFORMATION
PLENTY OF POWER

Your battery must have a large a power reserve, especially if it is intended for intensive use (moving from spot to spot, playing fish from the boat, drifts, laying down lines etc...). The slow discharge 110 AH battery with its big power reserve is perfect for this type of usage.

For carp fishing sessions of several days you will need two or more batteries if you are using them intensively. 3 to 4 batteries for a week's use

DIMENSIONS

Length 330mm / Width 173 mm / Height 240 mm

SAFETY FIRST

The battery has a built-in anti-fire safety feature

CONNECTION RECOMMENDATIONS

To avoid interference, do not connect your motor to the same battery as your sounder. For your sounder, choose a small purpose-designed Yucel Y7-12 battery, available in the boating section of your store. When fully charged it will power your sounder for a long time, as these devices require only a small current.

CONNECTION TIPS

Make connecting your battery to your motor that much easier with the special connectors available in our stores.

BATTERY LIFE

It is designed to last twice as long as a traditional battery. To increase the lifespan of your battery, make sure you never run it down completely

EASE OF TRANSPORT AND WEIGHT

It weighs 23.5 KG. For ease of transport the battery has a built-in handle.

WATERPROOF PROPERTIES

Thanks to the leakproof system, it is perfectly watertight wherever you go.

HOW DOES A BATTERY WORK?

The battery produces electricity via the chemical reaction of lead plates immersed in a sulphuric acid solution.

When the reaction comes to an end, all you need to do is apply a charge to the battery to regenerate the solution.

SLOW DISCHARGE

They are used for prolonged, regular and stable usage with few fluctuations in power requirements. Unlike in starter batteries, the lead plates of these batteries are thicker and fewer in number, causing less exchange in the electrolyte. Hence the long term capacity of the battery is greater.

CALCULATING THE AUTONOMY OF YOUR BATTERY

The autonomy of your outboard depends on the power of your battery and the current drawn by your motor. For a 55 lbs thrust motor using (at top speed) 70A, powered by a 110 Ah battery:

Autonomy = battery power / current drawn = 1.50 h (one hour and et 30 minutes)

This calculation is for a usage at top speed. If you use lower speeds, your battery autonomy will be extended.

WHAT IS THE POWER OF A BATTERY?

The power represents the quantity of electricity that can be stored in a battery. Battery capacity is expressed in Amp hours (Ah). This expresses the theoretical maximum current that a battery can supply for one hour. For example, a 110 Ah battery can supply a maximum current of 110 A for one hour

VOLTAGE

12 VOLTS. Voltage is not an easy idea to define. Put simply, it is the difference in charge between the two points of the battery which gives rise to the electric current flowing through the battery.

RECHARGING YOUR BATTERY

After each use, recharge your battery with the SCZ15 charger (with maintenance charge). In the closed season, remember to charge your battery/apply a maintence charge with the SCZ charger
