Which size should I choose for my Endzone 500?

For Freestyle use, you can take a short board: 20 to 25 cm drop (e.g. if you are 1.74 m tall, choose a board between 154 and 149 cm long).
A smaller board makes rotations and tricks easier. A bigger board will be more stable at high speed and when landing jumps.
142 cm => 1m57 to 1m67
146 cm => 1m60 to 1m71
151 cm => 1m69 to 1m76

A word from the product manager

The Endzone 500 Jib is our most lively board in the range. We wanted it to be easy to handle while also being a freestyle board: lively, manoeuvrable, fun, etc.
We love this board but the bottom line is that you like it! Feel free to give us your impression through the customer reviews.

The Endzone 500 is less catchy on the track than the Serenity 500 but it is really playful in the park, for rail lines of as well as jump lines. On piste, it is very manoeuvrable in tight turns for lively snowboarding beside the pistes. With its flat camber, rocker and soft torsional stiffness between the feet, it is suitable for very good freestyle users seeking a lively board as well as for genuine beginners interested in freestyle.

Twintip snowboard

The shape of the snowboard (shape) is TwinTip. The sidecuts of the board are completely symmetrical between the front and the back, providing perfect symmetry and centring of the board's characteristics so that you can ride in both directions in the same way. A TwinTip shape also provides complete balance for rotations on the ground and in the air.

Flat camber + rocker

A flat camber offers the best compromise between the edge grip and pop of a standard camber and the inverted camber that offers manoeuvrability in rotation yet relatively low edge grip. It is perfect for freestylers in snow parks and beginners because:
- the flat camber provides stability on modules or on piste
- the rocker is forgiving in snow parks and on piste because the 4 corners of the board do not touch the snow when the board is laid flat.

Soft and forgiving flex (2/5)

The flex is the stiffness of the board along its length.
The flex of the Endzone 400 Jib is about 2/5, which is flexible and forgiving. This type of flex is very even from the front shovel (nose) to the rear shovel (tail), which offers you very reliable and predictable behaviour in turns. The flex aimed at freestyle use makes it lively on the flat (ollies, nollies, butter, nose roll, etc.) .But it is also suitable for beginner snowboarders.

Soft and forgiving torsion

The torsional stiffness, i.e. the stiffness of the board when twisted between the feet, is about 2/5 on the Endzone 400 JIb, which makes the board easy to handle and turn and forgiving of mistakes. A soft torsional stiffness gives freedom between the feet. This is important for a beginner rider: tolerant of edge mistakes. The soft torsional stiffness is also suitable for freestyle-jib-flat use.

0 mm setback

The setback is when the contact points of the board on the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the centre of the board but shifted towards the rear. The bindings are also set back towards the rear by the same distance.
0 mm setback = given that there is no setback, these Twin Tip boards are completely centred for riding in both directions but also to be balanced when rotating in the air and on piste.

Sold with the Serenity 100 binding

Traditional snowboard binding :
- very good support thanks to its 3D ankle strap that perfectly matches the shoe
- great comfort thanks to the toe strap positioned on the front of the shoe
- equipped with the Easy Turn Turnover system so as to no longer have the strap that impedes the insertion of the shoe
142 cm, 146 cm and 151 cm: fastening in size M for shoes sized from 3 to 8.

When should you wax your snowboard?

Wed'ze boards are supplied already waxed.
They then require regular maintenance like all snowboards and skis: ideally requires waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year:
- at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide
- at the end of the season so that the wax protects the sole all summer long

Glide quality: sintered sole

The bases are made of polyethylene using 2 different technical processes:
- extruded base, with a certain density of polyethylene
- a sintered base, with a higher density of polyethylene (fewer holes, more PE)
A sintered base is the Rolls-Royce of bases. The glide is really fantastic.
