Decathlon’s Return Policy

At Decathlon we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and our dedication to customer satisfaction. This is why we give you 365 days to return your item if you are not completely happy with it. When returning the products you should have a receipt /invoice or a loyalty card used at the time of purchase.

Please note we do not exchange or refund perishable goods such as food or drinks, or personalised items.

All Decathlon passion brand products come with at least a 2 year guarantee.

You can find a list of Decathlon passion brands here. Please note that we will not accept products that are deemed to be damaged on purpose or used outside of their means.

OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS

Items purchased at Decathlon stores can be returned to any Decathlon store.

When returning the goods you should have a receipt or a loyalty card used at the time of purchase.

Please note that in-store purchases cannot be returned by post.

To return your online order by post, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on "My Account"
  2. Sign in
  3. Click on "My Purchases"
  4. Click on "Create an Online Return"
  5. Select your order by clicking on "See Details"
  6. In the order status area, click on "To create a Return"
  7. Select the quantity of the items you are returning
  8. Select the return reason
  9. Click on "Options" to select the refund or exchange option

You need to follow all steps and print your returns form. Enclose it with product(s) and package up securely. If you cannot print the returns form, please include a note stating your order number, return ID, name, contact details, reason for return and whether you want a refund or an exchange. Without these details we won't be able to take the action on your return.

If you have several orders to return, you have the option to return them at the same time. However, please complete the return process for each order separately and remember to include the return form for each order inside the package.

Please note we are unable to take any returns or exchanges online for items that have been bought in stores.

To return your online order in store, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on “My Account”
  2. Sign In
  3. Click on “Check My Online Invoices’’
  4. Select your order by clicking on "See Details"
  5. Click on “To View or Print your Bill’’
  6. Print the Invoice
  7. Bring the items to your closest Decathlon store
  8. Show the invoice in store when returning the items

If you are returning items to your closest Decathlon store,you can receive a refund via your initial method of payment or exchange the items (depending on stock availability).

Within 2 business days from when the products were received in our warehouse, you should get an e-mail confirmation that the return was processed.

Within 12 business days from when the products were received in our warehouse, you should receive a refund via the initial method of payment used to place the order.

Credit/Debit Card

If you paid online using credit or debit card, you will be refunded to the same card used to pay for the order.

Paypal

If you paid online using PayPal you will be refunded to your Paypal account

Gift Cards/Loyalty Vouchers

If you paid online using a gift card or a loyalty voucher, we are not able to refund this amount back to your bank account. Therefore, we can add enough points to your loyalty card, so that a voucher for the refund amount would be generated. Our Customer Loyalty team will contact you to confirm when the voucher is issued.

Please note that if you paid an additional amount with your credit card or Paypal, this will automatically be refunded within 7 business days.

Payment at the Till

If you placed an online order on the screen in one of Decathlon UK stores, you will be contacted by our finance department to arrange a refund. Please note that these kind of refunds can take longer, since we need to contact you directly.

Exchange orders are processed at no extra cost.

Within 5 days after the returned products were received in our warehouse, you should receive a confirmation your exchange was shipped (including a tracking number to track the delivery online).

If you did not receive the e-mail confirming your return was processed within 7 days after returning the items, contact our Customer Loyalty Team

Please note that in this case you may be asked to provide proof of shipment (e.g. receipt or tracking code given to you by the delivery company when shipping the items), so that we can investigate the cause of the delay.

The cost of returning any unwanted product, for an exchange or a refund, will be at your expense.

However, if you are returning the whole order, the shipping cost you paid for your original order will be refunded automatically.

If your order is faulty or if you received the wrong items, we will pay for the cost of return. However, you may be asked to provide pictures showing the damage.

Contact our Customer Loyalty Team to organise the return of faulty goods.

You have the option to return the faulty items to one of our stores, where Decathlon team members can have a look at them and investigate the fault.

Alternatively, you can contact our Customer loyalty Team to arrange a return of your online order by post.

Please note that in this case you may be asked to provide pictures showing the damage.

Decathlon cannot organise a return if products have been damaged on purpose or used outside of their means.

If the item is no longer under warranty, unfortunately we will not be able to exchange or refund a faulty item. You can find warranty information of each product page on our website.

We may be able to repair products which are no longer under warranty. Please contact your local store for more information
