“... INNOVATION IS AT THE HEART OF OUR PROJECT…”

At Decathlon, 69,000 Innovation Lovers of us live and share a common purpose: “to make the pleasure and benefits of sport accessible to all.” On a daily basis, our Passion brands teams design technical, attractive and simple products at the lowest possible price, that are aimed at everyone from novice to passionate sports people.

Every year, we celebrate all this savoir-faire during the Innovation Awards. This event is a unique opportunity for our customers, employees and partners to discover astounding and clever products soon to go on sale in Decathlon stores and online, and to share the spirit of innovation that drives us all every day.

This year, Decathlon UK would like to invite 3 customers, and a companion of their choice, to do a discovery trip to Lille where they will be shown, along a group of staff from Decathlon UK, the Campus store in Lille, a tour of the b’Twin (Cycling), Kipsta (Teamsports) and Domyos (Fitness) brands, the Innovation LAB and finally attend the Innovation Awards Evening at the Zenith Arena.

WHAT ARE THE INNOVATION AWARDS?

Innovation is, and always has been, at the heart of Decathlon’s and its Passion brands’ strategies.

Every year since 2005, the most innovative creations are showcased during the Innovation Awards. On the night, the most innovative products, for their usefulness, their technology or the usage breakthrough they provide, are presented and rewarded. This year’s ceremony takes place on October 8th 2015 at the “Zénith” in Lille. Ten products, re-selected by an internal committee, are competing. The audience, both physically present and online (watching on innovation.decathlon.com), will be able to vote for the sports innovation of the year.
