Guillaume and Simon launched the ALP (Austria to Littoral Path) project, a journey across the Alps with touring skis, fully autonomous and without a carbon impact. On their feet, our new WEDZE Wilder skis, for a full-scale test.

The Wilder range was first co-developed with three guides from Chamonix:
Nicolas Bezard, Jonathan Champendal and Alexis Profit.
From original specifications to sales, they followed along at every step of the way bringing their precious expertise to our teams.
Once validated, the prototypes were put to the test by Guillaume and Simon during their incredible journey across the Alps.
The test? No less than 4 countries, 38 ranges, 45 days, 550km and 80,000m in height difference. A true test!

What’s the ALP?

ALP, is the marvelously crazy bet made by two passionate amateur skiers, who set out from Austria to trace the Alpine arc to Menton, with a responsible, environmental mission. A project manager and engineer respectively, Simon Wuilmart and Guillaume Maret started a project with a mission: to make people aware of weather phenomena and their impact on our ecosystems. Through multiple meetings with local specialists like guides, innkeepers, hikers, glaciologists and members of local associations, Simon and Guillaume both embarked on a fabulous adventure from their doorsteps without carbon impact, and captured a changing environment in images.
