Nationwide Mission: Clean Up and Save

This year, we're launching a nationwide initiative that makes it easier for you to contribute to a cleaner planet while enjoying Decathlon’s gear at a discounted rate. Here’s how you can get involved:

What’s the Nationwide Mission?

In partnership with Planet Patrol, our Virtual Mission is to collect, remove and upload 5,000 pieces of litter in the Planet Patrol app over two weeks starting Friday, September 20th - 4th October.
As a participant, you’ll earn up to 50% off your next rental booking based on the amount of litter you collect:

● 10 pieces of litter = 10% off
● 20 pieces of litter = 20% off
● 30 pieces of litter = 30% off
● 40 pieces of litter = 40% off
● 50+ pieces of litter = 50% off

How Does It Work?

1. Join the Mission: Download the Planet Patrol app here to participate. Search for Decathlon in the Missions tab when signed up and signed in, or click here!
2. Collect Litter: Get out and clean up your local area. Every piece counts towards our collective goal!
3. Earn Discounts: Track your progress in the app and receive discounts based on your contributions*.

*Rental discount voucher will be sent to participants by email after the mission has finished. This may take up to 10 working days. Discount voucher valid for bookings created on or before 31.10.24 for bookings starting on or before 31.05.25. Booking dates can be amended at a later date.

Special London Event!

To celebrate World Cleanup Day 2024, Decathlon is hosting a FREE one-day-only special event in East London on  Saturday, September 21st.

Event Highlights:

● Pop-Up Shop: Our unique 'Rentals for Rubbish' pop-up shop will be open for one day only. Participants can bring the rubbish they've collected to receive a voucher that grants free access to Decathlon’s rental equipment.
● Rentals for Rubbish: For this exclusive occasion, Decathlon will offer free rentals on a range of sports equipment including bikes and stand up paddle boards.
● Litter Picking Events: We’ll be running litter picking sessions throughout the day around Limehouse Basin, giving you the litter picking equipment to make a difference.
● Support a Good Cause: While the rentals are free, we’re asking for a small refundable deposit of £5 to secure a space on one of our water based cleanup sessions. Participants can choose to be refunded or donate the proceeds to Planet Patrol, a non-profit organisation focused on environmental action and data collection, particularly the protection of the UK’s waterways and blue spaces.
