1. These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern the bike repair training (“Training”) provided by Decathlon UK Limited (“Decathlon UK”), Company Number 03140144, whose registered office is situated at Head Office, 9 Maritime Street, London, England, SE16 7FU, to external customers (“Trainee”).
2. This Training is open to all customers aged 18 years or over.
3. The Training will be conducted at Decathlon Chingford at Cork Tree Retail Park, E4 8JA.
4. Training sessions will be conducted every week on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 11 am and 3 pm.
5. The Trainee must complete the registration process and provide accurate information. Registration is confirmed upon payment of the fees.
6. The Training fee is:
1) £69.99 for the beginner's class.
7. Training specifications can be found in Annex 1.
8. Full payment must be made before the first session.
9. The workshop team will provide you with a payment code. You will use this at any of our tills. You will be able to pay by cash or card.
10. The proof of payment will need to be provided to the workshop before the training starts.
11. Fees are non-refundable unless Decathlon UK cancels the training.
12. Decathlon UK reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the Trainee will receive a full refund or the opportunity to attend a rescheduled session.
13. Refunds or rescheduling requests will be handled at Decathlon UK's discretion.
14. The Trainee agrees to actively participate in the session and adhere to Decathlon UK instructions during the Training.
15. The Trainee must follow all safety guidelines provided by Decathlon UK and wear appropriate safety equipment during hands-on activities.
16. If required, the Trainee must bring their own bike or tools as specified in the registration email.
17. The Trainee acknowledges that bike repair involves the use of tools and equipment that carry inherent risks. Participation is at the Trainee’s own risk.
18. Decathlon UK is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from the Trainee’s participation in the Training.
19. Nothing in these T&Cs will limit or exclude any liability for death or personal injury resulting from Decathlon UK's negligence.
20. Decathlon UK is not responsible for any loss or damage to the Trainee’s personal property during the Training.
21. The Trainee agrees not to disclose any proprietary methods, techniques or information shared during the Training to any third party.
22. Decathlon UK will provide a safe learning environment and necessary safety equipment. The Trainee must report any health concerns or safety issues immediately. The Trainee certifies they are physically fit to participate in the Training.
23. Your privacy and personal information are important to us. All personal information that you provide to us for the purposes of the Training will be dealt with in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal information we collect, how and why we collect, store, use and share such information, your rights in relation to your personal data and how to contact us and supervisory authorities if you have a query or complaint about the use of your personal data.
24. By registering or attending the training and paying the fees, the Trainee acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these T&Cs.
25. The decision of the Decathlon UK is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
26. You shall not assign, transfer or otherwise dispose of all or any of your rights under these terms and conditions.
27. In addition to these terms and conditions, you can also find here the Membership General Information which governs your use of your Decathlon account;
28. We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or terminate these terms and conditions from time to time and when appropriate.
29. These T&C shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
