Beach Accessories

Planning a day at the beach? There's nothing more relaxing than kicking back on the sand with the sound of waves gently rolling in. But if you're having a day out with the kids, then it's good to go prepared. If you're hanging out at the beach solo, whether you're doing a spot of sunbathing or taking to the waves on a bodyboard, the right beach clothing and a beach towel may be all you need. But fortunately, there are lots of different beach items to choose from to keep the little ones entertained, and safe.

BEACH EQUIPMENT

When going to the beach with small children, or even your dog, a pop-up beach shelter is essential. It will provide some much-needed shade on a hot day, and a little privacy for getting changed too. A beach towel is also a must, both to lay on, and to wrap yourself and the kids up in after a paddle in the sea. We also have super-compact microfibre towels which are extra absorbent and take up very little space in your bag. Plus hooded towels for babies in lots of cute designs. And don't forget your sunscreen too!

BEACH STUFF

A good beach bag is also a must. An insulated bag will keep your food and drinks cool so you can enjoy a nice picnic on the beach. And for extra comfort, why not take along a couple of fold-up beach chairs? Compact and lightweight, they're easy to carry and are great for older relatives or those not too keen on spending the entire day sitting on the ground. And don't forget the beach ball, Frisbee and other beach items for some fun in the sun.
