Ensure you and your horse are ready to roll with our horse riding equipment. We have everything from riding crops, saddles and pads, horse rugs, reins, and even durable equestrian fencing to ensure your horse is safe and secure when out in the field. Our equestrian range is all meticulously designed in-house to ensure the highest quality — there's a reason we're a top choice for sports and equestrian equipment.

LEATHER RIDING CROP

Trails, school or yard, take a look at our range of horse riding crops and whips — they can help you improve your performance and take your skills up a notch. Acting as another layer of communication between a horse and a rider, a riding crop can be a useful tool, but it must be used correctly. Riding crops and whips reinforce your leg and vocal aids to encourage your horse to move. They typically have a light fibreglass or cane shaft that is sheathed in fabric or leather. The crop has a thick handle at one end for the rider to hold, a slim, flexible shaft and a very thin tress or cord called the keeper. You can get riding crops made specifically for different equestrian disciplines, including jumping, dressage, and hunting. And we also have a great range of horse saddles to choose from to suit your needs.

HORSE RIDING WHIP

Riding crops can vary in length, but they are generally between 24 and 30 inches long. A dressage whip is similar to a crop, but longer, generally 45', and with a short lash. It is designed so the rider can tap the horse behind the leg without taking his or her hands off the reins. Its job is to assist in training exercises where the horse's front and hind end move independently. But a riding crop or horse whip should never be used as a punishment, only to support your communication with your horse or pony. If you've never used a riding crop before, ask your riding instructor for more information.
