used for More than 1 year I'm really happy with my Triban 3 road bike. I wanted to venture into road riding as I have been a mountain biker for many years, but did not want to spend a fortune on something I did not really understand. But after reading the Triban reviews in the cycling press, I simply knew it was the right move for me. I ride all year round and thoroughly enjoy the experience, although I am still nervous of those thin tyres when cranking over !! but to be honest I've not had any offs (as of yet !!).

used for 1 week or less I got 2 triban 3, 1 for myself and 1 for my girlfriend. My girlfriend just bought the triban 3 from the sales on Decathlon on the 5 of July with estimate delivery on 8 of july, and finally we get it on 13 of july. I have called many times to decathlon for the reason and have no cue for it. On the arrival of the bike, setting up the bike correctly and the front gear cannot go to the largest disc. This happened for both of the triban 3 I got and the new triban 3 for my girlfriend. I have try to bring my bike to halford to fix it, because I don't get any decathlon nearby. And they said this is the manufacturer problem, I have the change the whole gear set to fix the problem which is costly me 130, I didn"t do it because it is not worth for a bike with this price. Please advice how to fix this problem.

Response of the brand

Dear Sir,
I suspect that the bottom bracket is the incorrect length (hard to tell without seeing the bike).
I will ask our loyalty team to contact you and arrange for your bike to be repaired at no cost to yourself.
We will be in touch very shortly.

Bought this bike just under a year ago and in the past few months have had problems with the spokes in the rear wheel, they keep breaking. This has only recently became a problem but has happened several times. I have taken the bike to a bike shop to have them fixed but they continuously break. On my last ride 2 of the spokes on the rear wheel broke. What can I do about this frustrating problem? Apart from this when the bike was working I was very pleased with its performance.

Response of the brand

Dear Sir,
I'm sorry to read that you're having issues with your wheel.  Have you contacted your local Decathlon store or our customer loyalty team?  Please do so and we will send you a replacement wheel FOC.
They have improved the quality control over the last 8 months and the product has been improved.
