Lightweight and great price.

Erm .... no ... cannot think of anything negative!

I have not ridden properly in almost 20 years and this bike has re-ignited my passion for cycling. I am no expert in these things but it seems to me to be a great bike and for the price it seems a real bargain!

not what I wanted

sti, shimano 2300, good price and add-ons

bottom bracket problems and weird crank problem

from purchase I noticed a cotter pin type fault with the drive, then the chain started coming off the sprockets scratching the paint of the pedals, this then turned into a full lock-up which was the bottom bracket unscrewed & pedals running into frame.
now the rear derailleur is catching on the spokes & front derailleur is near impossible to change gear...
I like the STI but wish I had bought a Claude Butler instead.
Rogue or not???? Hmmmmmm

This is a fantastic bike for the money but needed quite a bit of tinkering when I got it home to set it up properly. It has a full carbon fork, not carbon wrap. Its stability is confidence inspiring. As other reviewers have said you'll want to swap out the awful saddle, and pedals too. I found it too long for my liking so swapped the 100mm stem for an 80mm which is much better for me and hasn't changed the handling for the worse. This is on a 54 size bike, I think - the next size down drops to 6

Great price, good spec.

Nothing really.

Got this through cycle to work scheme after reading a magazine review. I am very happy that I read the review and got this bike! Couple of very minor issues the tyres are pretty soft compound and puncture easily, shifters needed slight adjustment after a couple of hundred miles, both issues could apply to many bikes costing far more. Having covered 400+ miles both as a daily commute and training bike I would really recommend this. May not turn on the bike snobs but great spec for the money.

Great value for money

Changed the pedals & never looked back

No negatives

I've spent 25+ years riding BMX & MTB bikes with a little bit of road training thrown in. I was looking for a budget bike to ride all winter & arrive at spring in better shape that usual. This bike is perfect , i ride out 3 times a week , plus a couple of commutes & it hasn't missed a beat. The only thing i changed was the pedals for a set of SPD's. I can't believe how much you get for sub £300. Everything works just as you would expect , drivetrain is smooth & braking is fine too. Recomended
