Technical Information

  • 1

Dimensions and weight Bedroom 2.10m by 2m. Storage porch is 1.10m deep. 4.6 kg.

  • 2

Bedroom space Bedroom is comfortable for 3 adults, very comfortable for 2.

  • 3

    Storage space Generous storage recess.

  • 4

Entry/exit The big door opens fully very easily, so you don't have to crawl into the tent—something you will quickly come to appreciate.

  • 5

Pitching/folding Classic dome tent assembly: poles pitched with the bedroom, flysheet attached then porch pole pitched. Reverse movement to take it down.

  • 6

Waterproofing Like all Quechua tents, the waterproofing has been particularly well-developed, approved in lab tests (whole tent in a shower of 200 litres/hr/sqm!) and on field tests. PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet. All seams are waterproofed with thermobonded strips. The breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation.

  • 7

Ventilation 2 high vents (back and front), space between the flysheet and the ground all round the tent. The air can circulate between the bedroom and the flysheet; the tent breathes (!), limiting natural condensation formation as much as possible.

  • 8

Poles hollow fibreglass (Ø 8.5 mm).

  • 9

Tent pegs galvanised steel (Ø 5 mm) for very good resistance to twisting.

  • 10

Cover 55 cm long cylinder (Ø 25 cm).

  • 11

UV protection (protection against ultraviolet rays) Our tent fabrics block over 98% of UVB and 80 to 95% of UVA rays. Please note: a large amount of UV can enter through a single open door.

  • 12

Guarantee All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years of normal use (your invoice or receipt gives proof of purchase date and price). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked at your local Decathlon or Koodza store.

Test Product

QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200l of water/hour/sqm. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. We design our tests using a laboratory shower to prevent any water entering through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc.

Stock advice

STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould forming.

Care instructions:

1 CLEANING - if needed, clean the tent with soapy water, then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then leave to dry completely. 2 TREE SAP STAINS - Can be very hard to remove Once the stain is fully dry, gently scratch it off while holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the sap brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE - after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.
