Pitching/folding Classic dome tent assembly: poles set up with the bedroom, then flysheet fixed on top. Reverse movement to take it down.

Waterproofing All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (the ENTIRE TENT under 200 litres/hour/sqm and for 4 hours!) and field tested before approval. (PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester inner tent under the fly sheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that naturally builds up on the inside of the fly sheet.

Ventilation 1 high up back vent, space between the flysheet and the floor all round the tent. Everything is designed to allow air to circulate between the bedroom and fly sheet, for more breathability and to limit natural condensation.

Composition
Flysheet: PU-coated polyester. Bedroom: breathable polyester. Ground sheet: PU-coated polyethylene. 7.9 mm diameter fibreglass poles.
Test Product
QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200l of water/hour/sqm. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. We design our tests using a laboratory shower to prevent any water entering through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc.
Stock advice
STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould forming.
Care instructions:
1 CLEANING: if need be, clean the tent with soapy water then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then dry completely. 2 TREE SAP STAINS (very hard to remove): once the stain is dry, gently scratch it off whilst holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the sap brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE - after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould forming.
