Pitching/folding Has a clever pitching system, with the groundsheet being put in place and attached to the tent before unfolding. The tent can easily be correctly positioned and pitched. Waterproofing All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (the ENTIRE TENT under 200 litres/hour/sqm and for 4 hours!) and field tested before approval. (PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

Ventilation 1 large central vent in the roof of the living area. 1 vent above each bedroom. 1 large insect screen window; can be closed off. You can open the top of tent's entrance flap even when it's raining. Designed for optimum ventilation and to reduce natural condensation.

UV protection (protection against Ultraviolet rays) Our tent fabrics block over 98% of UVB and 80 to 95% of UVA rays. If you're looking for protection during the day, remember that a lot of UV rays reflect off the ground and in through open doors.

Guarantee All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years in normal use (your invoice or receipt gives proof of purchase date and price). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your local Decathlon store.

PU coated polyester fly sheet, breathable polyester bedroom. Solid fibreglass poles. Polyethylene groundsheet.
Test Product
QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200l of water/hour/sqm. The water jet test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. We develop our tents using a laboratory shower to prevent any water entering through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc.
Care instructions:
1 CLEANING: if need be, clean the tent with soapy water then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then dry completely. 2 TREE SAP STAINS (very hard to remove): once the stain is dry, gently scratch it off whilst holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the sap brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE - after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould forming.
