Living area/storage With its 3.9m², you can easily seat 4 or even 6 people around the table. Large storage pocket included. The entrance door is protected by a large overhang. The large back window, protected by an overhang, can be left open even in rainy weather. The basin-shaped groundsheet in the living area prevents rainwater runoff into the tent.

Access A large door, which can be easily stored in an adjacent pocket for more ease of use, and the advantage of a living area that opens up to the outside in fine weather. The groundsheet can be flattened at entrance for easier access.

Pitching/Folding Innovation: the groundsheet can be positioned and secured before the tent is unfolded. This facilitates the right positioning of the tent, and its accurate set up. Waterproofing Like all Quechua tents, the waterproofing has been particularly well-developed, approved in lab tests (WHOLE TENT in a shower of 200 litres/hr/m2!) and in field tests. (PU coated polyester flysheet, polyethylene groundsheet, thermobonded sealed seams.) A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

Ventilation 1 large central upper vent in the living area. 1 upper vent in each bedroom. 1 large insect-net window that can be closed. Top of the front door can be opened even when it rains. Everything is designed to maximise ventilation, and reduce natural condensation.

Poles Solid fibreglass; highly break resistant.

Pegs 5mm galvanised steel for excellent twist-resistance.

Cover Disc, 85cm in diameter, 14cm in thickness. 2 straps for occasional carrying.

UV protection Our tent fabrics block over 98% of UVB and 80 to 95% of UVA rays... for those looking for daytime protection, remember that a lot of UV rays can enter through one open door.

Warranty All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years under normal usage conditions (your invoice or receipt gives proof of purchase date and price). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your local Decathlon store.

Care instructions:

1 CLEANING: if need be, clean the tent with soapy water then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then dry completely. 2 RESIN STAINS (very hard to remove): once the stain is dry, gently scratch it off whilst holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the resin brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is completely dry to prevent odours and mould formation.

Test Product

The waterproofing of QUECHUA tents is approved by a full tent shower of 200l of water/hr/sq m. Although the water column test (=mm Schmerber) is quite well known and measures the level of waterproofing for fabrics, it is not a good indicator of how waterproof a tent is. Indeed, the fabrics are waterproof (above 1,000mm!) as they must be, but it is the tent itself that must be designed and developed to keep water out of seams, flaps, openings, zips etc. This is done using the shower test.
