used for 1 week or less I bought this bike from Decathlon in Glasgow and quite happy with it. I specially like that it is very light weight compared to other bikes in this price range. I think it is very good value for money.

The guy at Decathlon, Marc, was very friendly and took plenty time to help me make my decision as I had some doubts between models. I also bought a bike for my wife and he even helped us loading the bikes into our car, now that is customer service.

So far I have taken the bike on and off the road for the last week and super happy with it. I can most definitely recommend this bike.

If you are in Glasgow, ask for Marc he can give you very good advice and is very helpfull

used for 3 to 6 months Without doubt this is a great spec bike for £550 when compared to others on the market. However if I had to choose again, I wouldn’t buy this bike.
I don’t want to compare the RR560 to my previous Cove Bike, as that cost 3 times more and wouldn’t be fair.
The RR 560 is an okay all rounder bike which is only let down when you start to push it hard on the more technical longer trials.
My advice would be if you need a go anywhere mountain bike, spend the extra and buy better. If you want an everyday mountain bike buy the Rockrider 500 and save £310.
I really don’t think that the extra £310 is getting you to the next level of riding, as the components are just not good enough.
The Drive train kit is great and works well
The rest of the kit is good

The inner tubes are total rubbish and both popped after a few rides
Avid DB1 brakes, yes they stop in all weather thanks to being disc brakes, but they are a bit slow at stopping on fast runs.
The Rock Shox forks are again okay for the price but expect play even when they are locked out.
As I stated above this bike is okay, just not worth the extra money when compared with the RockRider 500. If I could swap my purchase I would.

Very well done old school XC bike.

Deore/SLX, XC Air fork/poploc, hydra brakes PRICE!

used for 2 to 8 weeks Had the bike for a month and it's great. I own a T5 Triban road bike and been incredibly pleased with that so the B'Twin's were on my short-list when spec'ing an MTB.

Comparing the RR560 to other similarly equipped bikes, the 560 is at least £200 cheaper, and while it's an old school XC 26"er with 30 speed it's very very well done.

The mix of Deore (FD and Chainset) and SLX (RD) shifts brilliantly, and the Avid brakes stop in all conditions. The XC32 font fork is air filled, and has a lock out for road and smooth trail use which again works flawlessly.

The only possible negative may be the wheels which feel a little heavy, but given the price, adding an after market wheel set would still make it cheaper than almost any other brand giving you a set of wheels for winter too.

The Michelin tyres are good all rounders, if you play solely in the mud, you'll need something with a bit more bite, but they cope with road, track and muddy fields remarkably well.

My only gripe was my local store not having stock, so I had to travel to London by train to get one. The Surrey Quays staff were excellent and I was on my way again within 30 minutes of arriving.

I recommend the B'Twin bikes to everyone I know who rides, there's a lot of bike snobbery about brands, but in my honest opinion there are no better value for money "proper" bikes for sale.

Keep it up Decathlon, sort the supply issues out and you'll be unstoppable. (and I hear campy gruppo's are making a return, I might be tempted to upgrade the road bike, just don't tell my wife)
