used for 1 week or less Bought this for my 15yr old son as a gift and very disappointed. The weight was quoted online for a size small and on receiving the medium I found it significantly heavier. The bike arrived wrongly assembled with the handlebars upside down! The brakes/gear units were also set far too low, the front brake cable was adjusted far too loose rendering a full brake lever travel before any purchase by the pad on the disk. Virtually all the critical exposed hex bolts were not lubricated at all. The instructions for assembly were wrong, completely missing an critical step in correctly fitting the headset without damaging it. Luckily I have experience maintaining high end mountain bikes so I could perform the correct fitting procedure, lube the bike and sort the factory fit problems, however I would caution anyone with limited knowledge of fitting against trying to use the instructions. Whilst I understand this is a low end, reduced price product there really is no excuse for mis-fitting of components before shipping, poor instructions or no lubing of key components. Just disappointed.

Bought mine in August last year and never really had the chance to ride it until recently. Have some components upgraded, hydraulic brakes, gear shifters & air shocks on the first day of purchased by the staff's (mechanic).
On my first outing we went to Sandwell Park with a few mates and they arrived with their bikes which cost well over a £1000 each. I have to admit, that I was a bit embarrassed at first when they brought their bikes out.
After a while of riding around, I noticed that people were not only turning their heads when my mate pass by but I was also getting a lot of attention too. Not only that, what surprised me most was I was able to keep up with them in every aspect without any problems.
So on, we continue our trip to Kinver Edge and Cannock Chase. My bike was just awesome in every way, it might not take the beating of a 10 foot jump but it was doing everything a well over £1000 bikes can do. I have done more than 100 miles off-road since the first day and haven't had any mechanical faults.
Looking forward to our next trip to Forest Of Dean. Hope my review will help you make up your mind. Bought mine at the Wednesbury branch, all the staff's there were all friendly and helpful with advice. If you are not keen on mechanical brakes or coil spring shocks, you can get them in eBay for a pair of shimano's brakes for as cheap as £38 or a brand new Suntour airshock with lockout for less than £100 and they are not at all difficult to fit them yourself.
Just wanted to share my thoughts to the people who are interested in FS mtb. I have no regrets at all on my purchased and loving every bit of it.
What is the stem size?

used for 1 week or less An all-round great bike, would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about purchasing this bike. But keep in mind, the bars are tiny, so i decided to get some 750mm insted, but I cant find the stem size (e.g. 31.8mm) to fit bars. Please can someone tell me the stem size
