Got 1 for doing MTB tracks as had a cheap full s from another retailer and felt I should step it up a bit. On buying the bike looked and felt great until cycling too work on a path taking it easy and the chain snapped. Got a replacement bike and feel its different from the first suspension is really soft in front and solid in the back to the point you feel your tiding a hard tail then loosening makes the spring bang into the shock. The chain is very basic and rusts and the join clip. Gears not amazing front bottom cog sometimes works. Overall go for the next 1 up!!

Highly under-rated trail bike.
Under-rated suspension. Strong frame. Good Geo.
Gears are mediocre, Seatpost clamp is weak.

I really like this bike a lot because although it's advertised as an XC bike. I've taken it down Am and more freeride style trails which it can handle surprisingly well (if you have the skills to ride it properly and don't crash it!).
The suspension and frame I've found to be very good for the price. I've hit some big jumps and drops on it and the 120mm of travel just soaks up everything. BikeRader say the frame is slightly flexy but I would definitely not agree with that. It's very strong and it will give you lots of confidence to go fast out on the trails. The swing arm hanger feels really solid when going over technical terrain. The Kenda tyres are actually really sticky, even in the wet. I've been able to over take £1000 Vitus and Kona bikes on this!
There are things that could be better. The seatpost clamp broke apart in my hand when I was raising the seat (it's really weak). The gears have been mediocre. Smooth but the middle chain ring sometimes rubs the chain. The middle derailleur sometimes doesn't work at all. The brakes could be better I think. I also feel the stem is very long for this bike and I think a shorter one would be much better. The grips are starting the slip a bit.
Apart from those little things. It's a really brilliant XC-Trail bike for if you want a decent full susser but don't want to pay £700-£1000 for one. Jumps well. Handles steep decents well (might change stem). The Geometry is surprisingly good for going up and down trails. You can really just drop the seat and shred through fast, jumpy and flowy singletrack nicely on this bike. If you have the skills, you can go faster than guys on £1000 full sussers. Good job Decathlon!
Now go make a 160mm travel freeride bike!

I own one of the original Rockrider 6.3s and have just bought my wife its modern successor, the Rockrider 500S. Its is not as well specced as my old bike, but for the price it is still a great buy.
You may have read that the original like mine was considered outstanding where as the current model is just average and ask why?
The following are different:
Rear suspension geometry,
Rear Shock unit
If you want a bike that will soak up all you can throw at it consider buying the next model up.
If you want something that is just fun, fun, fun, the new model is still absolutely excellent.
