Great Value for money

Looks great, and great price

Grips, Seatpost, front derailer.

used for 1 week or less Great bike for the money, looks great and I definitely would buy it again, but if you buy this bike you have to know that you will have to buy a new seat post as the one that comes with the bike keeps braking loose and the seat fall of the post after just a few rides, also the front derailer will do with an upgrade very soon, and the disk brakes make a funny noise when braking, apart from that the bike is great, has being built to last and will not disappoint any budget buyers because it wont cost you much more then 30 pounds to make this bike really great, and taking in consideration that the competitors bikes on this price range are made of steel, weights a ton, don't have disk brakes, and doesn't look any where near as great as this one I have to say it is worth changing the parts that need to be changed as the end result will be nothing far from brilliant.

Good reliable bike

This is a really good well built reliable bike,I've had mine 3 months now and it's proving to be a good workhorse and I have been a cyclist a very long time so I know my bikes and this for the money is a good one for sure,You can spend more but to be honest if all you is doing is goin round town and back roads and dirt tracks you really don't need anything better than this,I have fitted better tyres on mine with less rolling resistance and also mudguards and better pedals but even as standard from the shop the bike is very good indeed, buy one you is making a wise decision indeed.

Good entry-level bike but needs a lot of tuning

Sturdy construction, Price/Value

poor gears

used for 2 to 8 weeks Recently started off biking again and found this bike to get me started. It looks pretty good and the construction looks pretty sturdy.
The back gears seem to have a problem though and need a lot of fine-tuning to get them right, as either the highest or the lowest gear will not go in.
The bike has developed a squeaky noise after just 6 runs when running in neutral and sitting down (disappears when standing up) which I still have to find the cause of.
All in all not a bad starter-bike if you know how to tune it or have friends who know their way around bikes.

Cracking Value for Money First MTB

Good all round package

None for the price

Impossible to fault the value for money of this bike. I brought it as a present for my 11 year old son as a first MTB. Yes, it is a little on the weighty side, and the fork lacks rebound dampening, but a bomb-proof frame, 24 gears, full disc brakes and pretty reasonable quality kit for £240 make it a bargain starter MTB, especially for a growing lad who will need the next size up in a year!.

Assembly was a piece of cake (though the supplied allen key didn't seem to fit the handlebar bolts - luckily I have my own).

Their was initially a problem with delivery, but when I explained the need for it to come on time, Decathlon pulled out all the stops and arranged priority next day delivery, so top marks for customer service.
