used for 2 to 8 weeks I saw several videos of this tent and was hooked on its genius design. I wanted something lightweight, very portable and well ventilated for a cycle tour along the western coast of France next year. This tent is perfect. And it's kermit green!

used for 2 to 8 weeks love this tent. used for 8 days on a cycling trip in france. withstood rain and wind. goes up easy -tough and old boots material.
im 6'4 and it was just long enough though my feet did touch the bottom of the tent at times.

hard pushed to find fault for £80.

takes effort to put the poles in the holes.

used for 1 week or less This is the best tent I have seen and tried. I used it in snow, very cold weather, and carried it a long way. It is lightweight and small package, but roomy and wonderful inside. Has even a ceiling shelf and alot of genious solutions for better air venting and pockets, with easy to use pegs and hooks. Long enough for me and even taller people up to 190cm, and more than high enough ceiling. Strong quality material, good zippers, velcro patches here and there, and best of all- the inner tent was pre-attatched to the flysheet, so it all came up at once, no extra work! Amazing. It is up in less than 5 minutes (with frozen hands and mittens). The flysheet reaches the ground, so it is easy to seal around it with snow, to prevent wind going through it. I cooked inside it, with a gas stove, no problem, good ventilation. It is all I hoped it would be, and more. Who needs a house..?

very good tent for two

used for 1 week or less At first we could not decide between this and the Quickhiker II Ultralight. But in the end, this was much cheaper, it would allow us to sit up inside, and with my eyes closed and one in each hand I could not feel the weight difference, which was the final decider.

I'm glad we went with this tent. The small pack size fits fine in a bike pannier with room to spare, it's very easy to put up and put down, and we were very comfortable inside due to being able to sit up and due to excellent ventilation netting which also kept insects out. There is a handy ceiling pocket and also 2 small pockets near your head. It rained during the night but everything inside the inner and outer tent was bone dry. Having a door at either side was also good for loo visits without having to climb over each other.

Guarantee All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years of normal use (your receipt or loyalty card constitutes proof of purchase). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your local Decathlon store.
Ventilation and condensation prevention 2 large vents at the top of the tent to let warm air escape and improve air circulation within the tent. They can be closed and opened both from the inside and outside.
Pitching/folding Approx. 1 minute to pitch or take down. Pre-assembled fly sheet and bedroom. The poles provided opposite the net casing mean you save time during pitching.
The free-standing structure is easy to pitch on all types of terrain.
Taking the tent down is just as quick. You simply have to connect up the folded poles and roll them together to stow the tent in its cover.
Sun protection The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30.
Please note: a significant amount of UV rays can enter through a single open door: protect your skin.
Poles, pegs Poles: 7001 aluminium (Ø 8.5 mm) for their low weight and maximum resistance to breakage and frost.
Tent pegs: L-shaped aluminium.
Wind resistance We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel with a rotary table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the stays in position around the tent should remain habitable;e under wind speeds measuring 70 km/h at ground level.
Waterproofing All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (the WHOLE TENT under 200 litres/hour/sqm and for 4 hours!) and field tested before approval. Polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet inside, polyethylene 120g/m² ground sheet. All seams are sealed with thermobonded tape. The breathable, water repellent polyester bedroom and mosquito net prevent contact with droplets of condensation.
Inner space Length: 215 cm. Width: 130 at the head, 110 cm at the feet. Height : 108 cm.
Dimensions and weight; folded dimensions Cover with compression straps: 39 x 17 x 17 cm.

Test Product QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm (200mm of rain per hour) for 4 hours. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. Our test means we can prevent any water getting through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc. Wind resistance: We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel and on a rotating plate to expose each side of the tent to the wind. Tested in real conditions.
Restricted use : Sleeping space width max. 60 cm per person.
Stock advice Storage: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.
Care instructions: 1 CLEANING - if needed, clean the tent with soapy water, then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then leave to dry completely. 2 TREE SAP STAINS - Can be very hard to remove Once the stain is fully dry, gently scratch it off while holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the sap brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE - after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.
Guarantee : All of our tents can be repaired in your local Decathlon workshop.
