Broken chain in a week

Dual suspension

Broken chain and bent derailleur

used for 2 to 8 weeks The bike chain snapped after a week and the front derailleur wad bent. Poor build quality. No warranty provided from Decathlon. Would not reccomend this bike at all.

Response of the brand

Dear sir,
I'm sorry to read that you had issues with your bike so soon. If the chain and derailleur are defective they will be replaced under warranty.
Please contact a member of our loyalty team or your local decathlon store who will help provide a solution to get your bike back on the road. Your nearest store is Surrey Quays which is on the Jubilee Line.

Best bike I ever had

Well built and sturdy. Good for road and off road

No warning about which side peddels should go

used for 1 week or less I purchased the bike on-line. I was apprehensive about this. The bike arrived a day early in a massive box already built. The only things I had to do was to align the handle bars and attach the peddles. There was no warning explaining there is a designated left and a right peddle. I ended up stripping the threads, which led to an expensive replacement at the bike shop, 12 hours after receiving the bike. I'm not a bike mechanic.
However, putting this minor annoyance aside its all in the past and I really love this bike! I am 6'3" 300 lbs and the shock absorbers are a real gift. Makes riding a real pleasure and actually improves journeys. The bike is built not the lightest bike I've had, but is built to last and take a real beating from road surfaces and weather.
All round an excellent bike.

Good bike poor support

Lovely ride, great gears,

No screw holes for bottles, etc, no instructions

used for 2 to 8 weeks Love it now that I returned original with bad gears new one is great. I live in a hilly area and it makes all the difference with 21 gears and suspension. Why don't decathlon /btwin provide instructions or if they do provide instructions why are they so poor? You have to search forums to find out how to find the most basic of information.

Because the tubing is so fat standard accessories don't fit and there are no points for attaching accessories. My advice is research, research, research before you buy.

Would I recommend yes,but.

Excelente forma commuting un fue UK

I use to commute everyday (2x10km) in the UK in all weather conditions, it doesn't matter pavement status (asphalt, muddy, wet leaves, grass, irregular). There are lighter bikes, but double suspension makes it very comfortable. It is the bike of my life.

Excellent Bike

Very comfortable ride with very little rollong res

used for 7 to 12 months I spent a week in the saddle cycling around Holland. Even though Decathalon seems to imply that the bike will not take a pannier rack, I have them fitted and lived out of my panniers. I tightened up the rear suspension though.

This machine has been no problem though I have changed the pedals to plastic ones as those fitted kept scratching my legs.

I bought a water bottle screw clip mounting in Holland as the shape of the frame means that the conventional devices keep slipping. There is no drilled mounting.

My wife rides the version without rear suspension and loves her machine. It is bright pink!
