used for 1 week or less Ordered this online along with another item of outer clothing in the same size and they couldn't have been more different. The other I was able to wear over a tshirt and light fleece, this I couldn't even get zipped up on its own. Try it instore.

I used this while riding my bike and initially it kept me warm but now about 2 weeks of usage, the upper chest area gets affected with the cold winds.I am talking about the early morning cold winds in Bangalore. So I am not entirely convinced this is meant for some chilly mountain weather.
Excellent wind protection and warmth
Great fit, not too bulky, stylish, very "cosy"
Nothing so far

used for 2 to 8 weeks I bought this for use as a road cycling jacket. It's fantastic, especially in really cold/frosty conditions and even with just a base layer underneath. Wind-stop properties are superb. Wannabe Bradleys would probably say it's a little too thick and bulky but there's nothing worse than being cold on a long ride. Only drawback is that it doesn't have a long tail but I knew this when I bought it so am happy to trade this off for the warmth and comfort it provides. If Decathlon could produce a version (with a long tail) and position it appropriately for road cyclists I'm certain it would sell really well.
Forclaz 900 WARM Softshell
styling , windstop properties , underarm vent zips
very tight at neck when fully zipped up

best softshell jacket I've owned . windstop properties are superb , styling pretty good as well . Airvent zips under arms are a great idea. Only downside was fit at neck which is uncomfortably tight when fully zipped up but was a trade off as next size up was to big on body .
Have been out twice with this , both times in very windy and cold conditions on the Ochils .This jacket plus fleece and base layer were more than a match for anything the days could throw at me .
With an outside temperature of 0°C and 20 km/h winds, it will feel like the temperature is -10°C.
"Windproof" components help eliminate the discomfort linked to this "freezing effect". They are very effective at reducing heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind.
