Quechua Innovation Thanks to the stretchy, lightweight and well-ventilated mesh, this bag can adapt to what you are carrying. When empty it is highly compact and is very comfortable. When full (max volume 12L), it fits your back perfectly and its mesh structure means it stays breathable.

How is bag volume measured? The volume of each bag is measured using a standard method. We use small balls to fill the main compartment and each pocket. Then we empty the balls into a measurement container which tells us the equivalent in litres.

Rucksack technical tests We perform lab tests to check the components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zips... E.g. for a fabric, we test abrasion and rip resistance, how well colours hold in UV light, washing, waterproofness... Then we test the end product, speeding up the usual wear and tear on the bag to check how resistant it is. We fill it with weight, fit it to a model who reproduced movements of a quick walk over thousands of cycles.

Care instructions:
To allow these bags to retain their properties (especially waterproofness), we advise against machine washing, tumble drying, dry-cleaning or using bleach on these rucksacks. Do not iron them. To manually clean your bag, we recommend using warm soapy water and possibly a brush. After several years use, you can revive the water repellent qualities of the fabric with a "waterproofing" spray.
