Waterproofing: The exclusive Novadry component ensures you stay dry even in a heavy downpour. The trousers were tested in a rain simulator for 4 hours under the equivalent of 100l per hour/sqm downpour without letting in even the smallest amount of water. The component's waterproof rating is guaranteed to exceed 3,000 mm. All seams are fully taped.

Adjustable trouser bottoms: Two rip-tab straps, at bottom of trousers, can be adjusted to fit ankle to reduce water entry.

What is a waterproofing test or "shower test"? Approved test where the garment is placed under a shower simulating different weather conditions. All our products are certified 100% waterproof having been tested for 4+ hours in rainfall of between 100-450l per hour/sqm, depending on the product use. To put this into perspective, the highest recorded rain fall was in the USA in 1942, when 174l per hour/sqm fell over 4.5 hours (NOAA). The average rainfall in Paris is 2l per hour/sqm (www.Paris.fr)

I bought these waterproof trousers to wear whilst using a video camera in the rain.
As yet they have not been used in wet conditions but they are definitely windproof as they have been worn in 30-40 miles an hour wind conditions.
Now waiting for wet conditions to try them for waterproofing.
Nice and lightweight and comfortable to wear for extended periods.

Test Product
Novadry recreates showery conditions in its weather simulator. In these conditions, after a 4 hour rain shower (100l per hour/sqm), our trousers still kept the user dry.
Nautia component waterproof rating > 5,000 mm. Water repellency > 3. Not breathable.
Stock advice
Store in a dry place, but do not leave NOVADRY® garments on a heat source such as a radiator, as this may damage the breathable coating.
Care instructions:
Wash your CR100 Men's waterproof trousers in the washing machine at 30°C. Turn inside-out and fasten rip-tabs. Choose a long rinse and gentle spin cycle. Line dry if possible. Occasional tumble drying at min. temperature and min. time will also improve the water repellency. To recover the initial level of water repellency, you can also warm iron the fabric (max. temperature 140°C) or apply the Tribord re-waterproofing spray.
