Waterproofing Our exclusive Novadry material keeps you dry even in heavy downpours. The longjohns were placed in a rain simulator under the equivalent of a 100l/hr/sqm storm for 2 hours without a single drop seeping through. The component's waterproofing is guaranteed to more than 10000 mm of water pressure. All seams are 100% waterproof.

Reinforcements The knee, seat, and heel reinforcements are made of an abrasion- and wear-resistant component.

Rain bib waistband Adjustable waist using semi-elasticated rip-tabs.

Watertight openings The fit around the ankles can be adjusted with rip-tabs to keep water out.

What is a waterproofing test or "shower test"? Approved test where the garment is placed under a shower simulating different weather conditions. All our products are certified 100% waterproof having been tested for 4+ hours in rain of 100l/h/sqm to 450l/h/sqm depending on the product use. To put this into perspective, the highest recorded rain fall was in the USA in 1942, when 174l/h/sqm fell over 4.5 hours (NOAA). The average rainfall in Paris is 2l/h/sqm (www.Paris.fr)

Test Product
Novadry recreates downpour conditions in its weather simulator. In these conditions, after a 4 hour rain shower (100l per hour/sqm), our garment still kept the user dry.
Nikita component, waterproof to over 10000 mm of water pressure after five washes. Water repellency rating above 3. Non-breathable component.
Stock advice
Store in a dry place. Do not place your NOVADRY® garment on a heat source such as a radiator, which could damage the membrane or waterproof coating.
Care instructions:
Machine wash CR100 Men's waterproof longjohns at 30°C. Turn inside-out and fasten rip-tabs. Choose a long rinse and gentle spin cycle. Line dry if possible. Occasional tumble drying on low for a short period will also improve its water repellency. To recover the initial level of water repellency, you can also warm iron the fabric or apply the Tribord re-waterproofing spray.
