Boot Highly resistant PU foam liner (variable thickness according to areas). Progressively rigid ankle support foam: 1° close fitting foot layer: 10 mm width / density 30 ; 2° intermediate layer: width 20 mm / 8 mm thickness/ density 80. 3° cuff layer: 20 mm width/ 8 mm thickness/ density 80. Banana shape ankle foam support that fits in the empty foot space, under and behind the ankle.

Lacing system Round laces: 3mm in diameter and 110cm long. Strap not completely sown into liner to give them the freedom to fully adapt to user’s foot and to fit tightly around foot (and not just draw closer to facing which provides les foot support). No tightening strap at metatarsal level to free front of foot. This leads to less compression points, better blood circulation and increased toe warmth.

Mid-sole Hygienic foam sole with 5mm PE + FT lining (non-slip + warm). Rubber outsole with quite deep crampons (3,5mm) for good grip on snow and groove flex for walking. Phylon cushioning sole (Moulded EVA foam): 0,20 honeycombed density material generating air => lightweight + good cushioning + very good ground thermal insulation.

Type of lace-up Instep lace-up: 3 strap wrap around for bulwhip (to make it easier to lace up) and 4 strap wrap around for bulwhip limited (for more effective lace up). Mid lacing Self blocking slider for separating upper and lower lace up (once lower part is tightened, you can lace up top without the risk of lower part loosening up.)

Flex and support Boot tongue with side indents for avoiding ankle. Progressive rigidity (more rigid at heel level, and then more and more flexibility at front of foot and upper boot) Pivot: just like ski boot, the upper part of tongue can pivot around metallic rivet pivot point towards lower part so that flex is more uniform with less front of the boot inflation.

These boots are used by all our riders. It was designed by Christophe Fadda, Chamonix Freerider and Wed'ze snowboard technical adviser.
Stock advice
At the end of your day, remove liner from boot to ensure it is properly ventilated and dries quickly. Do not dry on a radiator or place near high temperature source.
