Size and weight Spacious 5 m² living area, with a max height of 1.85m. 1.4kg.
Bedroom space 2 x 2-person bedrooms. Comfortable-sized at 2.1m x 1.4m.
Living/storage space With its 5m², you can easily seat 4 to 6 people around the table. The entrance door, protected by a large overhang, increases the size of the living area. The large back window, protected by an overhang, can be left open even in rainy weather. The basin-shaped groundsheet in the living area prevents rainwater runoff into the tent.
Access A large door, which can be easily stored in an adjacent pocket for more ease of use, and the advantage of a living area that opens up to the outside in fine weather.
Pitching/ folding Innovation: the groundsheet can be positioned and secured before the tent is unfolded. This makes it easier to position and pitch tent properly. Then, you can unfold and pitch it in a few minutes! Folds away in less than 5 minutes when you have the knack (detailled instruction supplied and demo video available on www.quechua.com).
Waterproofing As with all Quechua tents, a lot of work is put in to ensuring they are watertight, through laboratory testing (an ENTIRE TENT is put through 200 litres/hr/sq m!) and field testing. (PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120 g/sq m polyethylene groundsheet, fully thermo-bonded taped seams). There is a breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet that prevents naturally-occurring droplets of condensation from touching the inside of the flysheet.
Ventilation 1 ventilation flap under each of the 2 overhangs, 2 mosquito-netted windows that can be closed + bedroom windows. Everything is designed to maximise ventilation, and reduce natural condensation.
Poles Solid fibreglass for excellent break resistance.
Pegs Galvanised steel, 5mm in diameter, for very good twist-resistance.
Cover Disc that is 85cm in diameter and 15cm thick. Practical zip and 2 straps for occasional carrying.
UV protection Our tent fabrics block over 98% of UVB and 80 to 95% of UVA rays... for those looking for daytime protection, remember that a lot of UV rays can enter through one open door.
Warranty All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years under normal conditions of use (your invoice or receipt provides proof of purchase date and price). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your nearest Decathlon or Koodza store.
Fabulous well designed tent

Really easy to put up
Would love some air in the bedrooms
I'm a single parent so usually have to put the tent up on my own. It's very easy indeed and takes about 2 minutes. Taking it down is a little more involved but it's possible to do it with one person (although you need fairly long arms!). Not only is it a really clever design, it looks lovely too - like a low-slung pagoda. I've had mine for about 5 years and it's still going strong. And when it dies, I'm getting another one!
Fab easy camping.

Easy/quick ,putting up,taking down.
Groundsheet not attached.
This is my favourite tent, wish i had tried one of these years ago. Quick to erect (watch on you tube), standing room in the living area (groundsheet attaches via velcro- would have been nicer to have sewn in one.Bedrooms can take double airbeds (sloping roof can make it feel like the ceilings a little too close for people sharing).Folds into a flat disc shape, not too heavy. All in all though FAB,makes camping easy, throw it in the car and go !.
Good, quick setup weekend or small family tent
Steve, The 03/07/2013
Is is very well thought out and quick to set-up
We bought this as a weekend tent. It was very quick to set-up and looks well thought out.
Getting it back in the bag takes some practice but just follow the instructions and the videos on-line.
The ground sheet is separate which actually worked well as the tent was not stuffy. I am not certain how it would be in rain or wind but on a average day with a strong breeze it was good.
Because of the vents we did not have any condensation.
PU-coated polyester flysheet, breathable polyester bedroom. Solid fibreglass poles. Polyethylene groundsheet.
Like all Quechua tents, the waterproofing has been particularly well-developed, approved in lab tests (WHOLE TENT in a shower of 200 litres/hr/m2!) and in field tests. (PU coated polyester flysheet, 120g/m² polyethylene groundsheet, thermobonded sealed seams.) A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Restricted use :
Not compatible with Sleep'inBed Camp Confort 140.
1 CLEANING: if need be, clean the tent with soapy water then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then dry completely. 2 RESIN STAINS (very hard to remove): once the stain is dry, gently scratch it off whilst holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the resin brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is completely dry to prevent odours and mould formation.
