• Living/storage space - With its 5m², you can easily seat 4 to 6 people around the table. The entrance door, protected by a large overhang, increases the size of the living area. The large back window, protected by an overhang, can be left open even in rainy weather. The basin-shaped groundsheet in the living area prevents rainwater runoff into the tent.
• Waterproofing - As with all Quechua tents, a lot of work is put in to ensuring they are watertight, through laboratory testing (an ENTIRE TENT is put through 200 litres/hr/sq m!) and field testing. (PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120 g/sq m polyethylene groundsheet, fully thermo-bonded taped seams). NB there is a breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet that prevents naturally-occurring droplets of condensation from touching the inside of the flysheet.
• Pegs - Made of galvanised steel, 5mm in diameter, for excellent twist-resistance.
• Cover - Disc that is 85cm in diameter and 15cm thick. Practical zip and 2 straps for occasional carrying.
• Access - A large door, which can be easily stored in an adjacent pocket for more ease of use, and the advantage of a living area that opens up to the outside in fine weather.
• Pitching/ folding - Innovation: the groundsheet can be positioned and secured before the tent is unfolded. This facilitates the right positioning of the tent, and its accurate set up. Then, you can unfold and set it up in under 2 minutes! (Folds down in less than 5 minutes when you have the knack (details and film available on www.quechua.com).
• Size and weight - Spacious 5 m² living area, with a max height of 1.85m. 1.4kg.
• Bedroom space - 2 x 2-person bedrooms. Comfortable-sized at 2.1m x 1.4m.
• UV protection - Our tent fabrics block over 98% of UVB and 80 to 95% of UVA rays... for those looking for daytime protection, remember that a lot of UV rays can enter through one open door.
• Warranty - All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years under normal usage conditions (your invoice or receipt gives proof of purchase date and price). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your local Decathlon store.
• Ventilation - 1 ventilation flap under each of the 2 overhangs, 2 mosquito-netted windows that can be closed + bedroom windows. Everything is designed to maximise ventilation, and reduce natural condensation.
• Poles - Solid fibreglass; highly break resistant.
