The backpack seemed fully-equipped, but in spite of an additional back protection (following the European standard), our teams still had the feeling that something was missing. This is why this year, they made the back protection REMOVABLE, so that you can adjust the backpack to your needs, even when you're not skiing.
A word from the product managerA freeride backpack with a removable back protection. This 25-litre backpack can hold a pair of skis or a snowboard and features many compartments for shovel, probe, hydration system, etc.
