Quechua 2 second 3 man pop up tent
Completely cosy and weatherproof.
It's a bit short

This tent is brilliant if you use a very low mattress. Mine was higher and my head kept hitting the ceiling so I felt a bit claustrophobic.
Having said that, even though I used it in the pouring rain and strong winds I was warm and comfortable and completely dry.
Very easy to put up and take down even for a first time camper.
Light and very quick to put up
More complicated to put down

used for More than 2 years We have now taken this tent on two long camping holidays around France. It is very comfortable to sleep in, fits a double lilo, cozy duvet, pillows with space down the sides for clothes and books and torches. Very good for touring around, staying on municipal campsites, being flexible to the weather. We just have a table and chairs so you can sit out and look at the view.... glass of wine...chat to other campers.
Ideal for car camping - luxurious for a couple!
Spacious - you can sleep any direction.
Probably not good for windy sites?

I already have the same design 2 person tent, two years old. I received my new 3 person tent today - so here are my comparisons and first impressions -
1. Hugely more spacious than the two person tent.
The inner tent is pretty well square with good headroom all over so even if you are tall like me, there is lots of room to sit up and you can sleep in any direction (a big plus point for rough sites). You could pile half a dozen people in for a party no bother. .
2. This tent is another era in terms of design development. Lots of clever features as others have remarked - great ventilation and storage. And yes the easy pack system really is easy and works first time.
NEGATIVES. it is probably too large for the boots of many small cars and so you will have to pack it on top of your other gear - not too good if it is wet and dripping - but how often is this going to happen? It is a much bigger tent than the 2 person one so not a good choice if you are likely to be spending many nights in windy weather. Note that rain should be no problem.
SUMMARY This is probably not the tent for winter weekends in the Welsh mountains, however it should be an ideal and luxurious tent for a couple looking to car camp, mainly in the summer and especially hot climates. Also great value for money!

used for 2 to 8 weeks This tent is brilliant! Easy easy to take down and put up! Does only take 2 seconds! Great ventilation on the side and back, strong and firm hold in bad weather with strong winds and rain. The bag is reasonably small and very light weight, love the straps on the back of the bag!!! The Quechua 2 Seconds XL Air 3 is exactly what it says in the description and name! It only takes 2 seconds to pitch and take down, lots of room for at least 3 people or more, and is very bright and amazing ventilation! Im abseloutly in love with this tent! Over the moon with my purchase! Out standing work by Quechua once again! BUY THIS TENT NOW!!!!!!
Easy up and down, lots of space
Needs more hooks abd areas to hang items on.

used for 1 week or less Got this tent for Glastonbury festival, was very easy to put up and down, although I was glad I practiced putting it down before I went as it is a little bit awkward, but easy once you have the hang of it. I was told in the shop not to worry about being forceful and bending the tent, I won't snap, this was good advice as I would worry I would break it when putting it down, but is supposed to bend. Lots of space inside and the porch was useful as well as the windows. Has helpful pockets around the inside. It only has one hook at the back of the tent this was a bit of a pain coming back at night as it would have been more useful to hang the touch around the door area to aid getting in. It held up will in the rain, thunder, hale stones too. It is light weight to carry, the carry straps cut into your shoulders if not wearing sleeves and you look like a turtle when it on your back, but a lot lighter then other tents I have had that are the same size. All in al I recommend this tent.

Waterproofing All Quechua tents are laboratory tested: the WHOLE TENT under 200 litres/hour/sqm (200mm/hour) for 4 hours! as well as in the most. (2000mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester inner tent under the fly sheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the fly sheet.
Ventilation Fly sheet with 2 side panels that can be moved apart and hooked onto the side guy ropes (opens from the inside). Air can circulate in the room. The mosquito nets keep the bedroom insect free. The ventilation panels can stay open when it rains and provide a view of the outside.
The bedroom's whole rear fly sheet can be raised from the inside by pulling on a cord.
Wind resistance We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel and on a rotating plate to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the stays in position around the tent should remain habitable;e under wind speeds measuring 50 km/h at ground level.
Pegs Solid fibreglass: highly resistant to breaking.
Galvanised steel (Ø 5 mm): excellent resistance to twisting.
UV protection (protection against ultraviolet rays) The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30.
Please note: a significant amount of UV rays can enter through a single open door: protect your skin.
Guarantee All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years of normal use (your invoice or receipt gives proof of purchase date and price). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked at your local Decathlon store.
2000 mm PU-coated polyester flysheet, breathable polyester bedroom, polyethylene groundsheet, solid fibreglass poles.
QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200 l of water/hour/sqm (200mm/h) for 4 hours. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. Our test means we can prevent any water getting through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc. Wind resistance: We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel and on a rotating plate to expose each side of the tent to the wind.
STORAGE - after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is PERFECTLY DRY to prevent odours and mould from forming.
1 CLEANING - if needed, clean the tent with soapy water, then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then leave to dry completely. 2 TREE SAP STAINS - Can be very hard to remove Once the stain is fully dry, gently scratch it off while holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the sap brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE - after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.
