Waterproofing All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (the ENTIRE TENT placed under 200 litres/hour/sqm for 4 hours!) and field tested before approval. (PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape.) A breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet keeps away condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

Ventilation 1 upper ventilation flap at the back, 2 low side flaps, breathable bedroom fabric. 2-way zip allows you to leave the bedroom door open at the top when zipped. Increased ventilation reduces natural condensation build-up.

Composition
PU-coated polyester flysheet, breathable polyester bedroom, polyethylene groundsheet, solid fibreglass poles.
Test Product
QUECHUA tent waterproofing is validated by placing the entire tent under 200 L of water/hour/sqm. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. We design our tests using a laboratory shower to prevent any water entering through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc.
Restricted use :
Sleeps 3; maximum sleeping space (width): 60 cm/person.
Care instructions:
1/ CLEANING: Clean the tent with soapy water if needed, then rinse (use a hose if possible). Then dry completely. 2/ TREE SAP STAINS (very hard to remove): once the stain is dry, gently scratch it off while holding an ice cube against the inside of the fabric to make the sap brittle so it will come off more easily. 3/ STORAGE: After use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry, to prevent odours and mould from forming.
