Waterproofing All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (the ENTIRE TENT placed under 200 litres/hour/sqm for 4 hours!) and field tested before approval. (PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape.) A breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet keeps away condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

Ventilation "AIR COOLING SYSTEM": Flysheet comes with side panels which can be drawn aside (open from the inside), allows air to circulate through the room. Mosquito screens keep insects out. The ventilation panels can be left open when it rains, and provide a (safe) view of the outdoors. Lets you sleep comfortably even when it's hot!

Composition
PU-coated polyester flysheet, breathable polyester bedroom, polyethylene groundsheet, solid fibreglass poles.
Test Product
QUECHUA tent waterproofing is validated by placing the entire tent under 200 L of water/hour/sqm. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. We design our tents using a laboratory shower to stop water seeping through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc.
Restricted use :
Sleeps 3; maximum sleeping space (width): 65 cm/person.
Care instructions:
1/ CLEANING: Clean the tent with soapy water if needed, then rinse (use a hose if possible). Then dry completely. 2/ TREE SAP STAINS (very hard to remove): once the stain is dry, gently scratch it off while holding an ice cube against the inside of the fabric to make the sap brittle so it will come off more easily. 3/ STORAGE: After use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry, to prevent odours and mould from forming.
